- TES Australia [AU] [Free] : Y7 to 10, Y11 & 12 worksheets (including some files in doc, xls or ppt format so editable which is great!). Warning : A lot of the documents they offer come from CIMT [UK] so they may not be exactly in line with the Australian curriculum; they say VAT instead of GST ; the monetary unit is Pounds rather than AUD...etc.
- Khan Academy [US] [Free] : Video lessons + Interactive exercises; Lets you create online classes and monitor your students progress. They get badges, points, trophees, which they love!

Resources for teachers which are NOT free

- HotMaths: Good worksheets, applets and summary [AU] [NOT Free].
- http://www.quia.com/ [NOT Free but nevertheless recommended by the BOSTES. Well, I guess this is consistent with the fact that everyone here seems to be using Windows or Apple OS rather than Linux, and Word/Excel instead of their Open Office counterparts or LaTex] : To create quizzes, games..etc
- Geometer's Sketchpad [NOT Free , recommended by the BOSTES.] Geogebra is an excellent free alternative and is used in many NSW textbooks.
Classroom management strategies

Other tools for teachers in a 1:1 environment
- Maths is fun [USA?] [Free] : clear, simple, colorful lessons with worked examples. Interactive exercises E.g. Add-subtract-balance . Students don't log in so you cannot see if the students have done the exercises if you assign them as homework.
- Kahoot [Free] Online multiple choice quizes, for in class competitive games. The easiest is to modify or reuse existing Kahoots. There are millions of them. The best part: You can pause between questions to give explanations. A "blind Kahoot" can be used to teach a new notion : Use the sequence (a) Question on unknown topic whose answer they guess (2) Explain in between questions (c) Ask reinforcing question, very similar to the initial one. Too bad it doesn't include a good math editor!
- Quizizz [Free] Online multiple choice quizes, student paced so if you want to pause after each question, Kahoot is better. You see students answers in real-time. Lots of ready-made. You can sort your favorite quizizz into collections. Too bad it doesn't include a good math editor!
- Socrative [Free] : Tool for building assessments and seeing students answers in real-time. Combines nicely with a quizz in PowerPoint presentation format, an oral question ...etc. You can ask the students to make a quiz (two slides per question, one with the question and one with explanations "Oops, you forgort to ...". This forces them to think about the common mistakes). Too bad it doesn't include a good math editor!
- Khan Academy [US][Free] : Students log in so you now who did what and you can assign it as homework. Student paced. When they get something wrong, they are offered to watch a video with exlanations. The "four in a row"exercises are a great tool to diffrerentiate: if a student is really good at something, (s)he only needs to do four questions whereas other students will get extra practice.
- Quizlet Live: Students work in groups and must get 12 answers corect in a row to win. Therefore the emphasis is on getting it right rather than on speed. That's good! My students love it! The basic version is free but if you want to be able to insert picture, you need the non free version. There are ready made sets of questions but not that many.
- MathSpace, good but not NOT Free. Students log in so you now who did what and you can assign it as homework. You cannot create questions, only use ready-made ones but there is an ample choice.
Other tools for teachers in a 1:1 environment
